The Chan Pratt Foundation will be hosting this year’s fundraiser on January 25, 2018 at Sapodilla Estate, West Bay Street. This event is set to continue to promote The Foundation’s mission and vision to the public. It will also serve as a fundraiser for the Chan Pratt Memorial Art Scholarship Endowment at The University of The Bahamas which was established in June 2016.
On January 25, 2018 the event will feature the works of various Bahamian artists exhibiting a diversity of styles. The musical backdrop for the evening, will be orchestrated by Adrian D’Aguilar and The Jazz Cats, and guests can look forward to a catered reception of savory hors d’oeuvres, dessert pastries and wine, throughout the evening.
As mentioned above, this is a fundraising event and donation tickets are valued at $100 each, with the intent of generating income for the above mentioned endowment fund as well as for the operational expenses of the Chan Pratt Foundation. This event also promises to be an excellent networking opportunity where artists and art enthusiasts will be encouraged to think about the future of art in The Bahamas, and how a foundation of this caliber can better serve the needs and help meet the goals of young Bahamian artists.
On behalf of the Family of Mr. Chan Pratt and UB, it gives us great pleasure to invite you to an upcoming event in his memory and in aid of the Scholarship Endowment, The Chan Pratt Inspiration.
Thank you for your support.
